... weight plates! Argghhh... it's annoying when you've piled on all the plates that you have available and it's still not enough to build up to a new PR. Right now, piling everything I have only amounts to 58kg. Definitely not enough weight for me to work on a new deadlift personal record.
Sigh. Gotta get me some plates. Gotta get me some plates SOON!!!!

Aizan,
why not give 'Matrix Training' a try? You'll use around 40% of your usual 1rm with varying rep schemes...

Hi, Gym.Hodgson.
I somehow fail to see how does the 'matrix training' differ from conventional supersets and circuits. I also don't understand why perform lifts with half-ROM when full-ROM proves to be more effective.
Anyway, I *think* Aizan places her priority in strength gains instead of size gains so high reps would prove less useful towards her goals.
GH: Wouldn't the high reps/low weights be more for size rather than strength? Like Kev mentioned, strength gains is my priority, size second.
I'm still learning about fitness science. Would you mind explaining how the matrix training would be beneficial for someone who's looking for strength gains?
