Only at Fitness First, only over the weekends. I don't have access to pay-per-entry gyms here.
Oh wait, we DO have one that's under the municipal council. Can you guess how much is the PPE rate? RM10. Yeap.
With like 3 different commercial gyms - Celebrity, Fitness First, True Fitness - here in Subang, it's understandable that there's no such thing as a Gym Rakyat/public gym here.
What most Malaysian gym-goers don't realize here is that we are OVERpaying for gym memberships. Gym memberships in the U.S. is dirt cheap, and they get their bulk of profit from Personal Training instead of gym memberships.
My pleasure. Dunno yet. The earliest cud be middle of next year. Hv been working out for 8 yrs now..5 yrs in centrepoint one utama and now in the land of anglo saxon.
Matt: I didn't even know there was a gym at centrepoint. Anyway, thanks for reading the blog. Always great to know that a 'veteran' reads what a relative newbie writes about the fitness lifestyle.

I would join in, if only Bangsar was closer. At the present, I cannot afford the cost of traveling to Gym Rakyat.
Where do you usually train? Doesn't necessarily have to be at Bangsar.

If only I am back in Malaysia, I would be more than willing to be so.
Matt: thanks for the thought. So when are you gonna be back in Malaysia? :P
